Taco Bowls

Who doesn’t like tacos? And when you are making healthy changes for the entire family I have found that tacos is an easy place to start. Whether you are new to the 30 Day Reset or you have been eating clean for years, these taco bowls are sure to be a family favorite!


  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • Steamed Cauliflower Rice


  • shredded lettuce or spinach

  • diced tomatoes

  • black olives

  • jalapeños

  • avocado

  • salsa


Brown hamburger and turkey in skillet over medium heat. Drain grease. Season with my homemade taco seasoning. I always have extras of this season made up a head of time for any of our favorite Mexican dishes! Season to taste (1-2 tablespoons) or add more as needed.

While the meat is browning steam a bag of cauliflower rice, dice up tomatoes, lettuce or spinach, avocado and any other veggies you’d like to add. Place the steamed cauliflower rice in a bowl, top with taco meat, lute or spinach, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, avocado and fresh (sugar free) salsa.

Feel free to double the recipe if you want taco meat left over for the week. My kids love warming up the meat and creating their own versions of taco bowls!
