30 Day Reset Chili

2 pounds grass-fed beef or 1 pound beef and 1 pound turkey

1 pound Italian sausage

1/2 pound sugar free bacon

2 (28 oz.) Fire Roasted diced tomatoes with juice

1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

1/2 large yellow onion chopped

1 Red Bell Pepper chopped

2 cups of beef stock

2 tablespoons bone broth (optional for richer taste and added nutrients)

1 tablespoon minced gralic

1 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste

  1. Heat a large stock pot over medium-high heat. Brown the beef, turkey and sausage. Drain off excess grease.

  2. In a different pan, cook bacon until crispy. Crumble and add to the stock pot.

  3. Add chopped onion and pepper to bacon fat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until onions are translucent. Add to stock pot.

  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste and beef stock to stock pot.

  5. Add seasonings and stir. Simmer on low heat for 30 - 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. The longer the chili simmers, the better it will taste. Can simmer for up to 2 hours.
